This project explores how advertising within such environments could shift from static banners to lightweight interactive experiences. The goal is to create ads that invite participation while fitting seamlessly into a user’s daily digital routine.

Brands struggle to capture user attention. Traditional ad formats are often ignored or quickly skipped, failing to create meaningful experiences. As a result, advertising becomes passive messaging rather than an opportunity for genuine interaction.

Learnings
Simple, easy-to-navigate designs with personalized elements allow users to actively participate, leading to higher engagement and stronger emotional connections with the brand. By empowering users to make choices, solve puzzles, or explore content, interactive ads create memorable experiences that resonate far beyond traditional static formats.
What did it solved?
Across campaign prototypes based on existing brand ads, interactive formats were evaluated through user testing with 12 participants. The concepts showed stronger engagement compared to static ads, with an average 1.3% increase in click-through rates and 10–15% of users choosing to interact with the ad instead of skipping it.
Conclusions
Focusing on user experience, these ads effectively bridge brand messaging with meaningful interaction, boosting brand recall and consideration. With clear branding and personalized touches, interactive ads allow brands to engage users in a way that feels natural, enjoyable, and relevant, outperforming traditional ads and driving better results in terms of click-through and interaction rates.
